Why is it a good idea to increase your like count on OnlyFans?
Mainly because higher like counts show prospective subscribers that there is good engagement with your posts and/or that you have had enough subscribers over the history of your page to have accrued that amount. This is what’s called a “vanity metric”. This means it is a measurable number but does not directly translate into your return on investment.
The number of likes on your OnlyFans posts is publicly displayed in the header, along with the total number of photos and videos on your page. Likes are universal across all social media platforms, so when people see something with more likes, they are more inclined to like it themselves!
Incentivize Your Subscribers
Boosting your likes can easily be done through the use of rewards. Most of the time, the reason subscribers aren’t “liking” posts isn’t because they don’t truly like your posts but because it is not something they think to do or realize the importance.
Offer a reward that is exclusively for the subscribers who complete this task. This can be anything you’d like, such as a free video/photoset, a PPV discount, or a discounted subscription price for the next month. The size of the reward should feel appropriate for the number of posts they need to go through. If you already have several hundred or thousands of posts, then it might be unrealistic to ask to like them all, it may be better to ask them to like a certain number of posts.
Pin a post to the top of your OF profile with instructions to send you a message letting you know they completed liking each post. Be sure to include this information in your welcome message, directing them to check out that pinned post where you have a preview or thumbnail of the reward video. This is a great way to ensure subscribers are aware of this opportunity!
Unfortunately, OF does not have a way to automatically review how many posts each subscriber has liked. The most recent subscriber to like the post will appear at the top of the likes for each post, making it possible to “spot check” them. Scroll back through your posts and select a few (particularly the earlier posts) to see if the subscriber is being honest about completing the task.
Spread Out Content
OnlyFans likes are per every post, not each individual piece of media in the post. If you have 100 photos, but they are only spread across 10 posts, that means each subscriber can only provide you with up to 10 likes regardless of how many total photos you have. That being said, it doesn’t necessarily mean it is a good idea to create a post for every individual photo and video. This is something to remember if you are a creator who doesn’t post as frequently.
The next time you create a photoset, don’t be afraid to split it up into two separate posts. Perhaps the first post is some of the more tame shots, and then you follow up with the naughtier ones later. Not only does this keep your subs interested and checking your page for that second installment, but you also can now get two likes for the effort of one photoset.
Like for Like
Like For Like (abbreviated L4L) is a request for mutual online promotion. Basically, “you like my content, and I’ll like yours,” and this is a popular social media strategy across many different platforms. Many creators will exchange OnlyFans free trial links with each other for the sole purpose of liking each other’s posts. Again, there is no simple way to verify the likes have been completed, and sometimes the favor is not returned by the other creator. This can be an effective strategy, but it is not the most efficient. Purchasing promo from fellow creators will not only earn you more subscribers, but you will also gain those likes organically.
